GET INVOLVED

There are lots of ways to get involved in the life and work of Wesley United Church.

Both members and adherents can take active and fulfilling leadership roles in our congregation. A warm welcome awaits you in each of our committees and groups. These include our men’s, women’s, children’s and youth groups, our church choir, and the various committees that make our church run. With so many opportunities, the hard part will be choosing.

Perhaps you would like to attend Horseshoe Falls Regional Council meetings as a Church representative, or maybe you would like to get involved in Cave Springs Camp (a United Church Camp in Beamsville) as a corporation member. We have a large and dynamic Pastoral Care team involved in visitation and a Church Council looking after the day to day operations of our Christ centred congregation. Chairpersons of the various committees (mentioned below) make up most of the membership of Council.

If your talents lead to specific areas of interest or expertise, there are additional opportunities on our Committees such as Christian Development; Finance and Stewardship; Membership and Outreach; Memorial; Ministry and Personnel; Property; Special Events; Worship and Music. Meetings are typically once a month September through June.
